Spiritual Practice, Process & Play in the Narrative Tradition
May, 2005
Still Meadow Retreat Center
Enneagram Portland, LLC held its first retreat in May 2005 and it was a wonderful experience. The retreat was open to anyone experienced with the Enneagram and was held at the Still Meadow Retreat Center, one of the most beautiful and nurturing retreat centers in the Pacific Northwest. There was plenty of open space for walking, resting and rejuvenating. Spiritual stories and practices were used to support our deepening awareness of our type structures, and we were able to explore how relaxing through our types reconnects us to knowing who we really are.
Listen to what participants have to say about their experience.
“The thing that most impressed me is how Cathy and Dale really thought about every moment— the timing, the symbolism, the mood, the total unfolding of it all was seamless and nurturing and safe. Thank you again.”
“The solemn silence was wonderful. It was great to be able to have time for myself.”
“The food was plentiful and healthful and tasted great. I liked the rhythm of the retreat— group time, learning time, solitude…. options to walk, sleep, etc. I really liked the 30-minute one-on-one sessions with Dale and Cathy, that was great!”
“Excellent food. It was a treat to not have to do chores. Beautiful location and very comfortable facility. So glad we had it all to ourselves. Thank you both for your generosity of spirit. You are a gift in our lives!”
